National Roast Leg of Lamb Day
May 7th is national roast leg of lamb day. Now, I know what you are thinking where can you get leg of lamb kosher. Usually as we learned from The Kosher Butcher's Wife in our Guide to Kosher Beef Cuts we can only eat the forequarter because it is a very difficult process to get to the kosher part of hindquarter. However, there is new meat company now preparing all sorts of cuts of meat, check out Bisra Kosher Meats. If that is too pricey for you let's just celebrate with other roasted lamb recipes including the lamb shanks, affordable and delicious.
