Dina Burcat has been cooking and making messes in the kitchen all her life, inspired by her mother and grandmother who set the table (literally!) for some of Dina's favorite family memories. Dina competed in the 2011 Man-O-Manischewitz Cook-off and the 2014 Manischewitz All-Stars competition, and is excited to return to competitive cooking in the 2017 Kosher Masters contest!

Dina was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where she attended the Silver Academy. A graduate of the Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School in Baltimore, MD, Dina attended the University of Maryland, after spending a semester at Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Dina returned to Beth Tfiloh after college and worked as the Development Associate and Alumni Coordinator for five years. In 2011, she moved to New York City, where she works as the Director of Alumni Affairs at Yeshiva University. She is also a very active volunteer at her synagogue, The Jewish Center on the Upper West Side.
