A Fall Shabbat Menu
As the weather cools off and leaves are starting to Fall we celebrate Shabbat with a warming menu, just a bit fancier than usual. Lamb shanks are meant to be cooked low and slow until the meat is literally FALLing off the bone.
NOT YOUR GRANDMA'S CHICKEN SOUP
Change up the flavor of your weekly chicken soup with this recipe. Keep it simple or add some kubbeh.
There is nothing quite so comforting as lamb shanks that fall off the bone. Serve them over a bed of warm Almond Couscous.
Add some color with this simple root vegetable side.
End the meal with another Fall favorite flavor (say that 5 times fast), Chai! Say L'chaim to chai cupcakes.
