Maple Glazed Asparagus

  • 1 :pound fresh asparagus spears
  • 2 :tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 :tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 :teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 :teaspoon margarine or butter



  1. Wash asparagus spears and trim woody ends off. Discard.
  2. Dry asparagus well with paper towels.
  3. Cut asparagus into 3-inch pieces.
  4. Using a skillet large enough to hold all of the asparagus in a single layer, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  5. Stir to coat the asparagus pieces completely with the oil.
