Cosmic Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 small onion quartered
- 1 clove garlic
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2/3 cup oil or melted margarine
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.
- Remove and place in a sauce pan. Simmer for about 45 minutes and then cool.
- You can make this up several days before you wish to use it.
