1 preheat oven to 350 degrees2 in 2 bowls (one can be smaller) remove the egg whites to a small bowl and place the yolks in a large bowl3 to the yolks add 1 1/2 c sugar and 1/2 cup oil mix well, then add the cup of milk, mix again.4 to the yolk mixture add 2 cups self rising flour, 1/2 c cocoa . mix well 5 beat the egg whites with a sprinkle of salt until stiff (lift the bowl over your head upside down stiff)6 fold in the egg whites to the batter7 pour in a greased/lined/floured round spring release pan.8 bake for 30 min or until a tooth pick comes out clean from the center. let cool9 make icing, beat the heavy cream, puding powder and cocoa in a bowl, add in the powder sugar, if it is too thick add a few teaspoons of milk. crush wafers.10 cut cake in 2 usuing a seraded knife, place 1/3 of the icing in the middle as filing, then add the top of the cake ice with the rest of the frosting and sprinkle the wafers ontop. enjoy!
