Equipment

  • 2 cedar planks soaked for 2-3 hours in water

Ingredients

Cedar Plank Seasoning:

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Salmon:

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 4 6 to 7-ounce salmon fillets, skin-on
  • 4 lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 2 soaked cedar planks with nonstick cooking spray and place in the oven while preheating.
  • In a small bowl, mix together Cajun seasoning and brown sugar until well combined.
  • Lightly sprinkle and rub salmon fillets with seasoning mixture.
  • Carefully place prepared salmon skin-side down onto preheated cedar planks. Return to oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove salmon from the oven and serve warm with lemon wedges and your favorite vegetables.
