Estee Chait was raised on the island of Kauai. A paradise where meat is still cooked in pits dug in the ground, and fish is brought to the table straight from the ocean. As a teen, she began working at the local bakeries- making breads for Starbucks and learning tricks to the perfect macaroon. There, amid chocolate chips and Kailua cookies, she found a love for the kitchen. Her travels have taken her across the world- from Spain and Morocco, to the heart of the Middle East.
