I happen to not be a big fan of non-dairy creamer and almost exclusively use coconut milk/cream in scenarios like this. Try it and let me know what you think.

oh for sure – follow instructions on pudding packet and swap milk for soy milk or coconut milk or non dairy creamer as you wish!

I used Non Dairy creamer once, but didn’t get such great results.

Could you make this pudding parve with Soy Milk &/or non dairy creamer?

I changed this recipe’s structure, making it an Italian (dairy) dessert, by preparing Tiramisu pudding mix per the package directions with dairy milk, then adding a tablespoon of Disarronno liqueur, which is parve.

When assembling, I layered the pudding mixture with pieces of coffee-soaked Nilla wafers and finished the top with shaved dark chocolate. Easy- because I used what I already had in my kitchen, fast- because it went together quickly and very delicious!

Also, simple to keep parve with vanilla pudding mix (or homemade) mixed with almond milk, coffee-soaked ladyfinger pieces and shaved parve dark chocolate.

This is an easy desert for the kids to make and easy to keep in the pantry for surprise company.

I am also going to give ohyoucook’s pudding a whirl for my family members who can not do the boxed puddings.

This looks delicious! Don’t forget that if you are making this parve and your parve “milk” isn’t coming from the fridge that the pudding won’t come out creamy as it should!

The name of this dessert appears deceiving to me. I assumed that chocolate would be a main ingredient rather than a garnish.
I don’t use packaged pudding mix; my from-scratch recipe doesn’t take that much time and tastes much better, even when made with coconut milk. In any event, the parfait is tasty and I would serve it again as a casual dessert.

I won’t be making this because it’s not something that either me or my husband likes.
