
Cilantro Pesto Gnocchi

Ingredients
- 4 medium Potatoes
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Flour
- 7 Dorot Chopped Cilantro Cubes
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoon Pine Nuts
- 2 Dorot Crushed Garlic Cubes
- 2 Dorot Chopped Basil Cubes
- Salt and Pepper
- 3 tablespoon Grated Parmesan
Instructions
- Boil the peeled potatoes in a pot with water until they are soft. Drain and grate the potatoes with a cheese grater into a bowl. Add the Dorot Chopped Cilantro Cubes, the egg, and a little flour and mix. Gradually add the flour until a uniform dough mixture is formed, and easy to work with. Flour the work surface and cut the dough into 4 parts Roll each part into a long roll and cut into thumb-thick cubes of 3 cm. Boil water in a pot with a little oil and a quarter teaspoon of salt. Place the gnocchi inside. The gnocchi starts floating when it is ready. Place a frying pan with olive oil on medium heat and add the pine nuts, Dorot Crushed Garlic Cubes, the Chopped Basil Cubes, and the cooked gnocchi. Season with salt and pepper and mix. Arrange the gnocchi on plates, scatter parmesan over and serve. Contributed by: DOROT

do the pine nuts have to be chopped?
You could use about 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro, 2 cloves garlic, minced, and 1 tablespoon chopped basil. Dorot just makes it a little easier.
How do i make this recipe without dorot cubes?
