Bagel French Toast

French Toast Bagel

Use up extra bagels by making french toast!

  • 2 bagels, sliced in half
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt


1. In a casserole whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar and salt until well blended.  Place bagels inside the dish dough face down. Flip to coat the other side. 

2. Heat a frying pan over high heat with butter.  Add bagels face down to the hot pan.  Cook until browned, flip and continue cooking until browned on the other side.  

3. Serve with maple syrup.
