Ingredients
Chilled Mulled Pomegranate Wine
- 1 bottle Morad Pomegranate Wine
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 whole cinnamon stick
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
Pomegranate Ice
- 1/2 cup fresh pomegranate seeds
- 1 cup water
Preparation
To make the pomegranate ice, place 1 teaspoon of fresh pomegranate seeds into each ice cube tray. Pour water over the seeds to fill the trays then freeze until solid.
Pour 1 bottle of Morad Pomegranate Wine in a medium pot with the orange, lemon, cinnamon stick and rosemary.
Bring the wine mixture to a simmer over medium heat then remove from the stove and allow to steep for 30 minutes.
Cover the pot and place it in the fridge for two hours to chill. Strain the wine to remove the citrus, cinnamon and rosemary.
To serve, add a few fresh pieces of citrus to each glass, pour the wine over the top, add a cinnamon stick to each cup then throw in a few homemade pomegranate ice cubes at the end.
