Get creative with bananas and kadaif. Kadaif is a shredded phyllo dough usually found frozen near regular phyllo.
- Cook Time
- Prep Time
- 1 banana
- 1 small straw
- Kadaif (shredded phyllo)
- Butter, melted
1. Remove the peel from a banana, push a straw into it, and pull it out so that the inside of the fruit is removed with the straw.
2. Push another straw into a cup of nutella and lay your finger over the top opening of the straw. Pull the Nutella-filled straw out of the cup and push it into the hole in the banana. To keep the Nutella in the banana when you pull out the straw, pinch the part of the straw closest to the fruit with your fingers and slowly pull it out while pinching.
3. Lay out shredded phyllo and brush well with melted butter. Place filled banana in the center and wrap the dough around.
4. Heat a saute pan with plenty of butter over medium-high heat, when hot place wrapped banana and cook until golden, flip and cook until the other side is golden. Remove to plate, garnish with chopped walnuts and serve.
