chocolate crusted chocolate cake

One bowl, no mixer and by far the best chocolate cake ever....

  • 2 cup flour
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • baking chocolate i use 200 grams, coarsly chopped


Preheat oven to 350 f/155 c.
Spray pan of choice with cooking spray.
With a whisk, mix together all dry ingredients together in a bowl.
Add all wet ingredients and mix to combine.
Add half of the chopped chocolate and mix again.
Pour into prepared pan and sprinkle remaining chocolate over the top.
Bake about 45 minutes (more or less depending on the pan you choose) or til a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
