There are many ways to make cholent and we have many different versions on our site, the one that the video on youtube is referring to is here: Family Heirloom Cholent <https://jamiegeller.com/recipes/family-heirloom-chulent/>
What a snarky, sneeringly imperious comment, McLevy. Stop brandishing your super critical knives. It’s only a recipe — not the cure for cancer.
So were is the kishka as shown in your youtube video?
We made this cholent this Shabbat and loved it! Thanks for bringing this out of the recipe vault 🙂
You don’t put onion soup mix and ketchup into the World’s Best ANYTHING.
But it serves as a decent base concept to work off of. Thanks.
No, it’s because of the chipotle in adobo(it’s a hot pepper sauce).
mine came out crazy spicy! is it because i added salt, pepper and paprika? or is this just a very spicy recipe?
I love this site. It helps me so much.
How big is a “bag”?? Please clarify.
AMAZING 🙂
