Dates Stuffed With Goat Cheese

dates with goat cheese and almond snack

Dates are incredibly sweet in taste, but recently have been found to be sweet for your health too. Rich in several vitamins, minerals, and fiber, dates and almonds are often touted as the best food before, after, and during workouts because quick energy-boosting sugar combined with nut protein equals sustained energy.

This recipe uses Medjool dates, which are larger and have three times as many calories as other dates. If you’d like to make this snack larger, seek out smaller date varieties.
