- 3 large eggs 3
- 2/3 cup milk 150 mL
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar 30 mL
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon 5 mL
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 2 mL
- 1 tsp vanilla 5 mL
- 8 bread slices 8
- 2 Tbsp canola oil 30 mL

Preparation
1 Preheat electric griddle to 325°F (160°C) (or medium heat).
2 Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla in a medium bowl. Set aside.
3 Place bread in a shallow baking dish and pour egg mixture over bread. Let soak for about 1 minute. Heat 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) of canola oil in the griddle. Cook the first four slices for about 6 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Repeat.
