Fresh lemonade with raspberry ice cubes

Lemonade, the ultimate summer thirst quencher, is brought to the next level with the addition of raspberry ice cubes and lemon slices.

Rasberry Ice Cubes:

  • 1 can frozen berry juice mix
  • 24 fresh raspberries


  • 2 quarts water
  • 1⅓ cups sugar
  • 1⅓ cups fresh lemon juice
  • 8 lemon slices


Rasberry Ice Cubes:

1. Pour a can of berry juice concentrate into a pitcher. Add water according to package directions.

2. Stir with a spoon until well mixed. Pour mixture into two ice cube trays.

3. Add a raspberry to each section of the ice cube tray. Place trays in the freezer to make berry ice cubes.


1. In a large pot, mix 2 quarts of water with 1⅓ cups of sugar. Stir the mixture and bring to a boil.

2. When mixture is boiling, reduce heat to simmer and cook until sugar is dissolved. About two minutes. Remove pot from the heat. 

3. Using a fine sieve, strain lemon juice into water/sugar mixture.

4. Place in refrigerator to chill. 

5. When ready to serve the chilled lemonade, place a lemon slice in each tall glass. Fill each glass with raspberry ice cubes and pour the lemonade over the top.
