Frozen Watermelon Blackberry Margaritas with Cilantro and Vanilla

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chilled watermellon puree
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • juice of 2 limes
  • 1/2 cup chilled tequila or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon triple sec
  • 3 cup crushed ice

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients together except ice until smooth.
  • Add ice and blend until smooth.
  • Rim glasses with sea salt or raw sugar
  • Serve immediately.

    I would have never thought to put cilantro with blackberries and watermelon, but I can see how the fresh greenness would cut the sweet of the berries. Inventive!
