Tabooli Salad


This delicious dish was used at every party I would go to. The dish was originally from Lebanon, but has now become a traditional Iraqi and international dish.

  • 4 cups finely chopped Parsley
  • 1 bunch finely chopped scallions (White and Green)
  • 2 medium chopped tomatoes (firm)
  • 1 cup bulgur (Cracked Wheat medium)
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of lemon juice
  • Salt for taste


Soak Bulgur in water for two hours, drain it and squeeze water out. Mix all of the above ingredients well, add salt for taste, chill the salad and enjoy
