Tartar Sauce

  • 2 cups homemade mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons finely chopped sweet gherkin pickles
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped capers
  • 3 teaspoons finely chopped fresh tarragon leaves or 1 ½ teaspoons dried
  • 3 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • Fine sea salt


Combine the mayonnaise, gherkins, capers, tarragon, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Season with salt. Refrigerate until using.
