Tilapia Fish in Spicy Tomato Sauce

This is a great fish recipe for Shabbos. It's simple to make and it tastes great.

  • 4 piece Tilapia Fish
  • 1 Stem Tomato/Plum Tomato
  • 1 Yellow Onion
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 Green Bell Pepper
  • dash Red Pepper Flakes
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Paprika
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water


Wash the tilapia fillets. Put aside. Make the tomato sauce mixture. In a bowl pour the can of tomato sauce. Slice the tomato, onion, bell peppers and add the water. Add the red pepper flakes and mix. Pour half of the sauce on a 9x13 pan. Put fish fillets on top. Sprinkle with paprika for color, salt and pepper. Bake covered for about 30 minutes. Uncover, pour the rest of the mixture on top of the fish and bake for another 20 minutes until some of the water evaporates. Enjoy!!
