Joel Haber

Joel Haber researches, writes, and lectures about Jewish Food History. He has spoken in many countries and online, and writes regularly on his blog, The Taste of Jewish Culture, and in articles for various publications. He works as a licensed tour guide in Israel, and his most popular tour is a culinary tasting tour in Shuk Machane Yehuda, Jerusalem's famous open-air market. Joel has guided over 3,500 individuals in the shuk alone. He is writing a book that explores the history of the Shabbat stew, and has recently released a free e-cookbook connected with that project.
