Meat Antipasto Shabbat Menu

One of the most mystical images in the entirety of our Torah comes at the very end of this week’s parsha, Naso. We see Moses walking into the Tent of Meeting and hearing the voice of Hashem speaking from the space between the two cherubim above the Ark. The angelic faces bear witness to the miracle of the divine communing with man.

In honor of the angels, we feature a heavenly dish that will leave your guests with much to talk about. After last week’s Shavuot dairy extravaganza this menu is specifically curated for those craving a savory, meat-filled return to tradition.

The Weekly Challah

Brisket Babka

We are taking the “extra meat” theme to the next level. This isn’t your average loaf; it’s a savory, braided masterpiece stuffed with tender, umami-rich pulled brisket. It’s the ultimate “Angel” dish—impressive, unique, and decadent.

MEAT ANTIPASTO

Start off with a vibrant platter of roasted veggies and Italian-style antipasto. Arrange rows of salami, deli meats, olives, and marinated artichokes for a beautiful, colorful starter.

A healthy, protein-packed one-pot wonder. This chicken and lentil dish is incredibly easy to prepare and tastes just as delicious served warm or at room temperature.

GREEN BEANS WITH ALMONDS

A quick sautéed side dish that adds a fresh “snap” to the plate. The toasted almonds add a nutty crunch that makes these perfect for snacking on throughout the meal.

RED VELVET MARBLE CAKE

My husband wants a Bundt cake every week, but unless we have company, we really shouldn’t! If you decide to go ahead this marble cake stays moist and is the perfect sweet ending to a savory meal.
