All smoothies are best prepared immediately before serving, otherwise the smoothies will separate. Nutrition information provided without the added yogurt which would add about 60 calories.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen strawberry slices
  • ⅓ cup brewed green tea
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 basil leaves
  • ½ cup plain non-fat yogurt optional

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth .

    Delicious breakfast or anytime snack. Nutritious and simple to make. I used fresh berries; great way to use up left over fruit.
