Almond Butter

In addition to dessert bars or truffles, almond butter adds richness to salad dressings and is delicious spread on fresh, crunchy vegetables such as carrots or celery.

  • 1 1/2 cupsServings


  • 3 cups whole almonds
  • Salt, optional


1. Blend for about fifteen minutes until smooth, using a spatula as necessary to push down any of the almonds that get stuck on the side of your blender or food processor.   

2. Add salt if you would like.

Note: Use a high-powered blender, such as a Vitamix, for almond butter, or you can use your food processor. When using your food processor, use the S-blade.
