This recipe is so easy to make and very tasty!
I make them in cupcakes for shabbes as a sidedish!

Apple Kugel
Servings
Ingredients
- 4 medium eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanila sugar
- 7 apples
Instructions
- Preheat oven on 350°F/175°C Mix together the eggs, sugar, oil. Add flour, baking powder and vanila sugar and mix until it forms a liquid dough. Slice or cut the apples it cubes and put them in a pyrex dish and pour the dough on the apples. Bake for one hour or until it’s brown, check with a toothpick!

Do you have to peel the apples. And can you make this ahead of time like 2 days and just reheat?
I never like to say you have to do anything in cooking, but in this case it is probably best practice to peel them. And yes you can make them ahead and reheat.
You can try Jaime Geller’s Passover Pineapple Kugel that uses zero wheat products. The bracha would be a “Shehakol.”
Used 1 cup of Matza Meal (try to remember – Matza Meal is composed of “ground baked flour”, it worked out as a beautiful replacement. Potato starch in this case would not be a good replacement for flour. Made it this afternoon and serving it tonight. Taste tested and it came out great! The bracha would be “Mezonot”
She asked for “non gebrokt eaters”. Matza meal is out.
You will need to use more than 1 cup of potato starch as the apples are loaded with juice. Yes, I’m familiar with “non-gebrockt ” consumers .
Sorry, we don’t have one.

Do you have an easy Apple Kugel for Passover for Non gebrokt eaters?
just try substiuting potato starch for flour
I made this recipe last shabbos and the Kugel came out absolutely incredible! I used 6 apples instead of 7 and since I didn’t have vanilla sugar, I used vanilla extract mixed with plain old sugar. The results were phenomenal! Deffinately will make this recipe again. Thanks a million for sharing!
