2 Servings

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • ½ cup pitted dates or date syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 6 egg whites

Instructions

  • Combine the bananas, dates, and almond butter in a blender. Blend contents until smooth. Add 1 tablespoon of water if necessary. 
  • Using a mixer or an electric egg beater, whip 6 egg whites until hard peaks form. Fold the blended contents into the egg whites, and whip again. 
  • Pour the mixture into a tupperware and place in  the freezer. Takes approximately 4-6 hours to freeze. Serve once frozen. Enjoy!

    I don’t like using raw eggs. Will the consistency be different if I don’t use raw eggs? What do the raw eggs add to the ice cream texture?
