Dark Chocolate Fudge

This recipe is the basic condensed milk version that is so easy it feels like you are cheating, but it tastes great so who cares. Mix it up using your choice of extract like mint or hazelnut instead of vanilla and/or add your favorite mix ins, like cookie dough, or nuts or peanut butter, the list can go on and on.

  • 3 cup good quality chocoalte 70% Cacao, chips or chopped
  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • dash of salt
  • 1 teaspoon extact, vanilla, mint, hazelnut etc.


Line 8- or 9-inch pan with wax paper or parchment.
Melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and salt in a heavy saucepan. Remove from heat; stir in extract of choice. Spread evenly in prepared pan.
Chill 2 hours or until firm. Remove from pan by lifting edges of wax paper; peel off paper. Cut into squares.

Tip - use high quality chocolate and you will never need to buy fudge again.

If you want to make this pareve you can try using a non dairy substitute for condensed milk.
