Absolutely delicious! Amazing recipe.. so easy to make and to clean up.
I added extra pepper. Total of 1.5 tsp. The first time I made it we thought it was a good lukshin kugel. The added pepper made it taste more like yerushalmi kugel.

Before I got this far on the page, I realized it wasn’t going to work.
The way I would adjust the recipe is:
#1 Boil 4 cups of water add the noodles, cook no longer than two minutes, and drain, don’t rinse.
#2 Melt the oleo in the 1/2 cup water.
#3 Add everything but the noodles and mix until everything is dissolved.
#4 Blend the liquid into the noodles carefully. Put the noodle mix in a pan and cover it with foil.
#5 Bake the kugel at 325 degrees. Check it after 30 minutes. Remember, you’re not evaporating excess water.

Please check the ingredients and directions as one cook said it came out too watery. I hate to waste my time and ingredients…..

This recipe really did not work out for me.
Is it supposed to be extremely watery? Or was I supposed to drain the water?
