Everything Bagel Seasoning - And How to Make 'Everything' Everything

Take the deliciousness of an everything bagel and throw it on all your favorite foods. Why? Because you can! It works incredibly well on nearly any savory recipe and is a total crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Everything Bagel Seasoning Mix

  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoons black sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoons sea salt flakes
  • 3 tablespoons minced dried onion
  • 3 tablespoons minced dried garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of poppy seeds

Everything Cheese Ball

  • 16 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup green onion, chopped

Everything Tzatziki

  • 1 small cucumber, chopped
  • 1 cup plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • ½ cup everything seasoning

Everything Coleslaw Dressing

  • ½ cup mayonaise
  • 1½ tablespoons lemon juice 
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • ½ cup everything seasoning

Everything Roasted Green Beans

  • 1 pounds fresh green beans
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup everything seasoning

Preparation

Everything Seasoning

To make everything seasoning, mix sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, salt, onion, garlic, and poppy seeds together. You can store leftovers in an airtight container for later use.

Makes just over 1 cup seasoning, double or triple the recipe for your needs. 

Everything Cheese Ball

1. Mix the cream cheese with the green onion (it helps to use an electric hand mixer). Scoop onto a piece of plastic wrap and roll into a ball. 

2. Freeze for 15 minutes until it's solid and roll in everything seasoning to coat thoroughly.

3. Serve with your favorite crackers or bagel chips.  

Everything Tzatziki

1. In a bowl combine cucumber, yogurt, vinegar, oil, dill, garlic, and everything seasoning. 

2. Refrigerate until serving.  Enjoy with potato chips, vegetable sticks or Zucchini Latkes

Everything Coleslaw Salad

1. In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, vinegar, and everything seasoning.  

2. Mix well and pour over a bowl of shredded cabbage and carrots or your favorite salad mix.  

Everything Roasted Green Beans

1. Preheat oven to 400℉.

2. Spread green beans on a sheet pan.  Drizzle with EVOO, sprinkle with everything seasoning and toss well.   Roast for 20 minutes until hot and crisp.
