Fish Shawarma

Fish Shawarma

Use the flavors of shawarma seasoning to make perfectly cooked fish. Serve over rice, cauliflower rice or in a pita with Israeli salad and tahini.

Ingredients

  • 1½ pounds white fish fillets, sliced into strips
  • 1-2 tablespoons Jamie Geller Shawarma seasoning
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, divided
  • 4 pitas
  • Israeli salad
  • Tahini sauce
  • Garnish: cilantro or parsley

Preparation

  1. Mix fish with shawarma seasoning, salt, pepper and 1 tablespoons evoo. In a large saute pan over high heat saute fish in remaining tablespoon of evoo.
  2. Serve fish in pita with Israeli salad and tahini sauce.
