Most other recipes online call this Hawaiian chicken, but it’s the same. Also, a lot of people use Wishbone Russian dressing, which is deep red and similar to a red French dressing like Catalina. Wishbone’s version is not traditional Russian dressing, which is creamy and closer to a Thousand Island. Many versions of this recipe call for Thousand Island, so it’s a horse a piece, depending on which style of dressing you prefer. The bottom line is the dressing adds a vinegary sweet and sour component.
Russian dressing is available in stores. If it’s unavailable, just mix ketchup with light mayonnaise and it will have the same taste as the ready made bottle.
its a salad dressing example; like french dressing
This isn’t very clear – what is 1 bottle of Russian Dressing?
Thank you.
