Outrageous Apricot Walnut Kugel

A delicious sweet noodle kugel infused with an exotic apricot walnut topping – YUM!!!

Outrageous Apricot Walnut Kugel

Prep Time 20 minutes mins
Cook Time 1 hour hr 35 minutes mins
Total Time 1 hour hr 55 minutes mins

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce medium noodles cooked and drained
  • 5 tablespoon margarine softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 16 ounce pareve creamer
  • 6 ounce apricot preserves
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped

Instructions

  • Cream together margarine, sugar, vanilla and salt.  Beat eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition. Mix entire mixture with drained noodles.  Pour kugel into prepared 9 x 13″ pan. Bake uncovered at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remove from oven and spread top of kugel with apricot preserves. Sprinkle walnuts on top of preserves.  Return to oven and bake additional 20 minutes. Cut when cool. Freezes well. Delicious served hot or cold..

    As the others mention, there is no instructions for the creamer. I did what they did – and it was truly wonderful. My husband and company really loved it. One of my guests asked to take the leftovers home!!

    yes you dont mention when to add the creamer .i added the creamer after the eggs hope this was right-the kugel was very tasty
