Peanut Butter Truffles

this recipe is great for a shobbas dessert, or just to have as a snack.

  • 2c peanut butter
  • 1c margarine
  • 1c sugar
  • 2c flour
  • 1/2c almond milk
  • 2c bittersweet chocolate chips
  • opt crushed peanuts, for topping


In a small pot, melt margarine, peanut butter and sugar. stir till the sugar is dissolved and mix is smooth. remove from heat, pour batter into a mixing bowl and add flour. mix and let refrigerate for about 1-1 1/2 hour.(dough should be dough like.) once dough has chilled roll into 1in balls. melt chocolate chips with the milk in a sauce pan on low flame. roll balls into melted chocolate and let it sit back in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
*to cover with nuts; after dipping the balls into chocolate roll into a bowl of your favorite nut and then let it sit for 10minutes in fridge.
