Smokey Fish Spread

You can play around with the kinds of fish you use to prepare this fish spread for variety.

  • 3/4 pound smoked whitefish, trout or herring
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons half and half cream
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • Assorted crackers or chips


Remove skin and bones from fish. Flake. 

2. Combine all ingredients except crackers. Mix thoroughly. 

3. Chill. Serve with assorted crackers or chips.
