Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 60 mL
  • 1/2 tsp salt 2 mL
  • 2 Tbsp canola oil 30 mL
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper 2 mL
  • 1 clove garlic crushed 1
  • 24 asparagus spears trimmed 24

Instructions

Preparation

  • 1 To prepare marinade, combine balsamic vinegar, salt, canola oil, pepper and garlic in a large resealable plastic bag.2 Add asparagus and squeeze bag to coat asparagus with marinade; seal bag. Let stand for 30 minutes. 3 Remove asparagus from marinade. Discard marinade.4 Grill asparagus over medium heat on barbecue, turning occasionally, until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

    I would do it in the broiler for about 10 minutes but check often.
