thanks
any good recomendation for a white fish for second day yom tov to warm up on the plata?
fish is delicate and doesnt like to be reheated. it dries out or if in a sauce, it breaks down too much.
I would suggest a cold fish dish, or like i suggested above, wait until it is not a chag and eat the fish fresh right out of the pan.
I am afraid the fish would dry out. Better to save this dish for a day you can eat it right out of the oven when juicy and delicious.
thanks chag sameach
Hi. sounds delicious . if baked in advanced,Could I warm this up on the hot plate second day yom tov or would it be too dry?
Thanks Lois, so glad you are enjoying the site.
Flounder, snapper, or even tilapia should be good.
What white fish fillets do you recommend
My family was ethnic & traditional but not kosher. My mother was a great cook, but she shooed me out of the kitchen because she said I’d “make a mess”, so I was never able to watch. When I saw your site I thought I’d subscribe to your newsletters… what a good decision! Your recipes are wonderful, and even though we’re not kosher, we believe that everything we need to know about healthy eating can be found in Leviticus 17 – so your recipes are right on target. Thanks for what you do, and please keep it up!
i can’t eat tometoes, what can iuse instaed?
Maybe try a puree of roasted red peppers.
These look beautiful. Would make wonderful company dish.
