  • 1 loaf frozen gefilte fish
  • 3/4 cup Zaatar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi powder
  • Water
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
2. In a mixing bowl combine the zaatar, salt, pepper and olive oil. Coat generously the frozen fish from all sides and place in a baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until fully cooked, increase the heat to 425F and bake for additional 10 minutes and let it get brown and crisp.
3. For the wasabi aioli, slowly combine the wasabi powder with water until it becomes paste (as instructed on the wasabi powder box). With a whisk or using your fingers, combine the wasabi with the mayonnaise.
4. The dish can be served warm or in room temperature.
