  • 1 loaf frozen gefilte fish
  • ¼ cup Jamie Geller Za'atar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi powder
  • Water
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. In a mixing bowl combine the zaatar, salt, pepper and olive oil. Coat generously the frozen fish from all sides and place in a baking pan. Bake for 1 hour, until fully cooked, increase the heat to 425°F and bake for additional 10 minutes and let it get brown and crisp.

3. For the wasabi aioli, slowly combine the wasabi powder with water until it becomes a paste (as instructed on the wasabi powder box). With a whisk or using your fingers, combine the wasabi with the mayonnaise.
4. The dish can be served warm or in room temperature.
