This recipe combines two of our favorite foods into a one-pot meal you can eat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Use our favorite challah dough recipe or your own and save some dough for this unique recipe.

Preheat oven to 400 ̊F.
1. Prepare your favorite challah dough and shape it into rolls. Grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet or oven-safe saute pan. Place 10-12 dough balls in a ring around the edge of a pan. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 15 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, prepare your favorite shakshuka recipe or use matbucha and place in the middle of the pan surrounded by par-baked challah rolls.
3. Gently crack eggs into pan on top of sauce, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and place in oven for 7 to 8 minutes. Eat right out of the pan.
