Cholent
In an upscale French restaurant this dish would be called cassoulet which essentially is a bean stew. (Everything sounds better in French.) Cholent is an easy and hearty dish to prepare.

Ingredients
- 8 potatoes
- 1 cup barley
- 1 cup cholent beans
- ½ cup lima beans (optional)
- 1 spanish onions diced
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (non fish)
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 package marrow bones
- 2 pounds flanken
Preparation
1. Place all ingredients in crock pot. Pour water to cover.
2. Cook on high for a few hours and then reduce to low/keep warm.
