This cranberry coffee braid is an easy yet impressive bread to make for a special occasion. It’s best served warm. You can make the braid and allow to rise, covered, overnight in the refrigerator. The next morning you can bake it and present it warm to family and friends. Prep time doesn’t include time for dough to rise.

I wouldn’t make it without yeast, but I think a white bread recipe using GF flour should work fine.
I want to make this using my Gluten-Free flour blend. Could I use the white bread recipe for that GF flour, or would challah recipe taste better? Can this be made without yeast?
YUM! How do you come up with these ideas!? What a beautiful braid….any tips on how to make it come out so utterly neat!?
Yes, it doesn’t need to rise again after being shaped though.
Probably should work.
can you use apple pie filling or even
raspberry jam to make strudel with this recipe
If using challah dough do u let it rise first and hit it down then use and let rise 2nd time ?
can it be made with puffed pastry dough?
It would change the texture, but that might be really good.
You can use any frozen bread dough or make extra challah dough, all would be perfect.
Where cani find the frozen bread dough? Would it be in Gourmet Glatt?
