Jewish Deli Slaw

Just like the coleslaw that comes with a over the top stuffed corned beef on rye, this slaw will bring you back. All you need is some half sour pickles.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh cracked black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage from around 1 small head cabbage
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and grated
  • 1 large stalk celery, cut into thin slices

Preparation

1. In a large bowl whisk vinegar, mustard, evoo and honey, Add cabbage, carrots and celery. Toss well and season to taste with salt and pepper. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
