Persimmon Tart
Persimmons are only in season for a short time, so grab them while you can and get cooking. This Persimmon tart is simple and easy and highlights the amazing flavor of the persimmon.

Ingredients
- 8 mini frozen pie crusts
- 4 persimmons, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- Date syrup, for glazing
Preparation
Place sliced persimmons onto crust. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, and dot with butter or margarine. Bake in 375˚F degree oven for 25 minutes, until persimmons are tender. Glaze with date syrup.
