Roasted Garlic Toast

But when roasted, it's magically transformed into a perfectly sweet yet still subtly savory delicacy. Plus it really could not be easier to master how to make a whole, roasted garlic head and use it on sliced bread.

  • 2 slices whole grain bread (I love whole wheat sourdough)
  • 1 head roasted garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt


1. Toast bread and brush with olive oil
2. Mash garlic over bread and drizzle with a touch of olive oil
3. Season with red pepper flakes and salt
4. Serve immediately as-is, or add freshly shaved parmesan cheese or a poached egg
