In Parsha Emor, we survey the beautiful cycle of our holidays, but right now, we are in the heart of a journey. As we count the days of the Omer toward Shavuot, we are reminded of the barley offering brought to the Temple as a symbol of thanksgiving for the spring harvest.
In honor of that “Omer” grain, our menu features a nutty barley salad and a spread of vibrant, seasonal dishes that celebrate the renewal of the earth.

Main dishes? I know we have cakes and muffins and I think a kugel that is a like a cake. We have salads, but no real mains with strawberries, wish I could get some.
