CELERY AND TOFU SALAD WITH SCALLION OIL

I haven’t been able to find pressed tofu that is kosher and I am not sure how to make it, so I used this fried tofu that I have been finding at my Asian market and it is Circle K, but if you can’t find it, the health food stores usually carry a baked a tofu that would be great in this. You just need something very firm and chewy.

What a nice fresh salad. I wonder if I can just bake or press my own tofu…?

This looks so interesting. I often get pressed tofu with a hechsher at a korean grocery (HMart) that is not too far from me. Will have to add this to my bookmarked recipes!

I have had trouble finding it too and used regular celery, so I wouldn’t worry too much, just keep an eye out for next time.
