The ultimate crunchy snack. The key is patience—let them cool!

You can use our ranch recipe to sprinkle on top for flavor or use. Store bought ranch or simply some granulated garlic or even zaatar. 

These go from nice and golden to burnt pretty fast. So keep a close eye starting at the 20 minute mark. Different cottage cheese brands will cook at different paces. 

You don’t need to strain the cottage unless it is particularly watery. Pour off the excess water before spooning it out.

2-Ingredient Cottage Cheese Chips

Yield about 12 chips. Serve as is or with a marinara sauce or even salsa.
I liked making or using a ranch seasoning but you can also try za’atar or everything bagel seasoning or any other favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low fat cottage cheese 3% or 5% (250g)
  • Homemade Ranch Blend optional: 1 tsp dried parsley 1/2 tsp dried dill, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp coarse ground dried garlic, pinch of black pepper.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a cookie sheet with parchment.
  • Use a large tablespoon to drop mounds of cottage cheese spaced 2 inches apart. .
  • Sprinkle with ranch seasoning if desired.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes. Start checking at 20 minutes—you want them medium brown and toasted.
  • Crucial: Let them cool fully (20-30 mins) on the tray to crisp up.
