You don’t need to strain the cottage unless it is particularly watery. Pour off the excess water before spooning it out.

- 1 cup low fat cottage cheese 3% or 5% (250g)
- Homemade Ranch Blend optional: 1 tsp dried parsley 1/2 tsp dried dill, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp coarse ground dried garlic, pinch of black pepper.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a cookie sheet with parchment.
- Use a large tablespoon to drop mounds of cottage cheese spaced 2 inches apart. .
- Sprinkle with ranch seasoning if desired.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes. Start checking at 20 minutes—you want them medium brown and toasted.
- Crucial: Let them cool fully (20-30 mins) on the tray to crisp up.
