Beer-Battered BBQ Schnitzel Jewlish

  • 1½ ounces barbecue potato chips + 3 ounces for coating the chicken
  • ½ cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup beer
  • 4 chicken breasts, flattened
  • oil for frying


  1. In a large bowl add 1½ oz. smashed barbecue potato chips, flour, baking soda, salt, beer. Mix.
  2. Cover flattened chicken in batter.

  3. Cover in more smashed chips.

  4. Fry on medium heat for about 4 minutes on each side. After 1 minute check that the bottom isn’t burning.
