Chicken Satay

Grilled chicken on a skewer is always a winning recipe, but when served with this peanut dipping sauce no one will be able to stop eating.

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Thai chili paste
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1½ pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced


1 Combine soy sauce, molasses, lime juice, cumin, ginger, chili paste, turmeric, and chicken ziplock bag, seal and marinate in fridge for at least 30 minutes.
2 Prepare grill or broiler. Remove chicken from bag and discard marinade. Thread the chicken strips onto skewers, about 18. Place on grill or on a pan in broiler and cook for about 2 minutes per side or until done.
3 Serve with peanut sauce.
